I agree that the DaVinci rollout was the single most amazing thing at the NAB show. I can’t imagine that any post house or serious editor that hasn’t already invested in an expensive grading system, won’t snap this up. This will really democratize color grading. Quality grading will no longer be something that happens only in $500 per hour color suites. And great looks will be about the quality of the colorist and not so much about having $200k worth of gear.

I just hope they get the RED and 3D tools right. What I saw looked like a home run.
