Blurry Text after Adding camera?
I want to thank those in advance for your help.
I’ve created a scene that involves text. I used the text tool inside AE to write a couple of sentences. Everything looked how I wanted it to. But then I went to animate the scene, and I made my layers 3D and added a camera and the text now looks a little blurry. I took snap shots of my work because I wanted to send them to a friend and I can tell the difference between the snap shot and my stage.
I cant tell if it happened when I made my layers 3d or if it happened when I added the camera. Any ideas?
I tried messing with the focus of the camera with no luck. The render is on full and the quality is on high.
Any ideas on what to try or what I did? Thanks for your help! I greatly appreciate it!

My main guess is the focal length, focal distance, and depth of field settings aren’t set right.. without actually seeing it I couldn’t tell for sure, but one of those is probably making the text out of focus..
did you try moving along the Z axis and see if it gets better / worse?

from your post, I’m not even sure that you want depth of field. It sounds like you don’t realize depth of field is on – if I;m wrong, I apologize. But if I’m right, it’s simple to fix.
To turn it off, select your camera and hit “AA” to reveal the camera properties. Then make sure Depth of Field is set to off.

Id also like to say Aharon, Im a big fan, your corny jokes crack me up all the time.
I will try the Z depth, but no, I do not want to realise depth of field, I did check that it was off in the camera settings.
I choose a 35mm camera…is perhaps this lens causing the text to go out of focus? I did try a 250mm camera just to see if it would do anything but I couldnt notice.

Also, when I choose camera, I cant see where the point of interest is. Normally there is a circle with a crosshair or something. (This way I could check to see where the camera is looking) Is there a way to turn this on and off? …maybe its way far off my stage and thats why my text is blurry.
