Blur/Pixelation for Name Tags

But you’ll have to keyframe each and every instance. And the more you add, the more bogged down it gets. Multiple Blurs will do that.

For something that does the tracking for you, you can look into MOCHA for FCP. Not free, and a bit of a learning curve, but it will track the shots for you.

If you have more than one object to be blurred, I would do that in motion. Send the clips directly from the timeline.
Motions tracker has the ability to track multiple Maskspoints for complex shapes.Not as good as mocha but pretty straightforward with FCP.

I need to do something similar, but add name tag and have it follow the persons movement.
Shot 1080i 60p edit pro res 422.
