    Greetings.

I’m editing a short video on how to fill out a government form. As you well know, there is so much going on on some of those pages that it can be hard to tell which line or which area you are talking about.

I’m looking for a way to either highlight a selected line/area on the clip OR a way to blur around that line/area in order to help the viewer keep track of where the narrator is on the page. Make sense?

Would greatly appreciate some ideas on how to accomplish this please!

    You want a track matte.
V3 Top track – Clean video
v2 Generator – Oval or rectangle.
V1 bottom track – Blurred video

Set V3 to ‘Travel Matte Luma” and it will grab the ‘white’ area from track 2 and show you the parts of Track 3 that are white.
It will show you the parts of track 1 that are black.

Andy’s Region Blur can do this for you.
