August 13, 2009 at 12:22 amI recently updated to Titanium 10 and tried using their BD publishing.
The multiplexing appears to be improved. But, the encoding is just as pathetic
as 9. I was stunned at how poor it was considering the length of the encoding
process.The menu system is relatively easy to use and you can make mixed media / data
disks pretty easily.That said, *no not* let this thing re-encode your media. As the original poster
recommends, use Compressor to get it into 264 and then don’t let this thing touch
you data .. it’s the “un-HD” path if you do.Jeff
ps: The FCP 7 path is pretty easy to use (as well), but doesn’t give you quite as menu
menu options as Titanium 10 does. -

What settings are you compressing your blu-ray video files at in compressor? Also, even though you compress in compressor doesn’t toast still have to encode them to burn them? What is your workflow your speaking about?jon r.
