    Hi,
I am trying to burn a BluRay disc using a Lacie BluRay burner, Verbatim BluRay disc on a Win XP Pro system. The project consists of about 3 minutes of rendered animation files at 1080i (upper field) Quicktime .mov format with mp3 audio tracks. After selecting the correct settings (we think), we get an error message when we attempt to burn:

“Parameters Selected Are Incorrect Or Incompatible With Task”

Any suggestions or a point to a tutorial (we have scoured the Web and followed the Vegas manual)would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

Here’s one reply from the BluRay/PS3 update thread on the Sony Vegas forum.
I’d suggest reading this thread as there were a few more suggestions as well and, since I’m not into BluRay yet, it didn’t mean anything to me.

How to make a Blu-Ray Disc without re-encoding a compliant HDV 1440x1080i source video, no video quality loss

Another suggestion (if it’s possible) is to get the animation as a series of images (PNG, Targa, etc.) and import it into Vegas as a image sequence.
I’ve done this numerous times with Lightwave files and it works quite well.
