Blur transition

hi…the blur transition can be done by doing a dissolve between your 2 clips…then add an adjustment layer where u add your blur in/out…hope it helps…cheers…merv

Thanks Merv, that does work. What I was trying to base it off of is a plugin from Eureka (or a Eureka plugin) for Final Cut that does this automatically – it’s called ‘blur through’ I believe but would more acurately be termed timewarp tranistion in my opinion as it stretches one scene into another. Was hoping to find an AE plugin that eliminated these manual steps…

You can save this as a preset for use whenever you need it.
