Blur Layer
Hi guys ! I’m new here and I hope someone will solve my problem… 😉
Is it possible to blur the layer (movie clip) by the layer above? What I mean is I want to have similar effect to this one without duplicating movie clip layer, creating mask and bluring it.
I want to make a solid which blurs and brightens the layer below.

Add an adjustment layer between the solid and the video layer. Because the solid layer has a lower opacity, yduplicate the solid and change the opacity to 100%. Add the levels and blur effect to the adjustment layer. Change the adjustment layer to alpha matte to use the alpha of the solid layer.
