bluetooth Q
Hi there,
on my G5 (latest OS) bluetooth can take up to 10 minutes to be recognized….which makes it not reasonable to use the kb and mouse for me. is there something wrong with this or is this expected functionality? any advise?

Make sure you attached the little Bluetooth antenna to the back of your G5. If you have a metal desk, or a 2.4 GHZ phone near by it could be interfering with the signal as well. Make sure you’ve updated the Bluetooth firmware (and software) to the latest version: https://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=86493

turned out to be a busted machine.
thanks much for the help.
in the shop right now with the hood up. another G5 here kicks in almost immediatly with the same keyb and moouse.cheers,
