Bluetooth extender for mouse?
I had my Mac Pro under my desk and I was having trouble keeping a solid connection to my wireless Magic Mouse. I like using the Magic Mouse because I want to have the ability to scroll horizontally in my FCP and AE timelines. I’ve now moved my Mac, PC and external RAID behind my desk in a corner to isolate the sound for audio recording, so I get no connection to the mouse at all. Is there a bluetooth extender for the Mac? I could get the wired mouse, but I don’t like having to clean the track ball on the Mighty Mouse every day to keep it operational.

Is there anyway you can extend the wireless aerial or boost the transmit/ receive power? If you have to convert to bluetooth and back to extend, you might find accuracy and sensitivity suffers.
I have all computers in a machine room and extend everything by cable 15 metres. I find the mouse cable slightly annoying but not having to constantly worry about batteries etc is nice.
