    Hi!
After endless days of looking into the problem of why I couldn’t transfer the sequence in the Avid onto mini-DV and how to first get rid of some recent jumps and digital code breaks that have appeared in my sequence, I have discovered something which may help to solve these problems. But I need your help!

When the button on the top of the timeline is blue, the sequence has all those jumps and digital code breaks but when you click the button and it becomes green, the picture in the sequence is normal!

Then when I go to enable digital video out, the camera which is connected to the computer ‘reacts’ and in the view finder you do see the sequence. But because the button is blue it shows all the jumps and digital code breaks and that I do not want to record ! So, I found a way of transferring the edit onto mini-DV but how to get rid of those jumps and digital code breaks (multicoloured pixel patches on picture). PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I have also been plagued with mac error-36 and even today with a mac error-50. I thingk my memery drives are too full up… Any ideas ? Thanks!

I’m assuming you don’t have Mojo.

Have you done a final render?

    Hi!

    NO I don’t have MOJO.

I have rendered the sequence in Expert Render In/Out and at present there are no effects to render.

    Hi!

In ‘Digital Cut’, it seems to be working (after I had 2 clips be converted to the same audio sample rate).
BUT after 5 mns of recording onto mini-DV, it just stops with error mac -36 and even now with mac error -50 !
I’m so close to doing this transfer and yet these 2 errors are stopping the process.
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    Mango

    Hi,

How about a video mix down or exporting a quicktime with avid codec then re import into new timeline.
