  Blue Yeti Pro USB Mic – Can’t change sample rate on my Macbook Pro Retina

  Not sure if this is the right place for this post, but…

  I’ve got a Blue Yeti Pro USB Mic which is capable of ‘sampling rates from 22kHz to 192kHz.’
  The place to change this setting is in Utilities –> Audio MIDI Setup.

  There’s a dropdown menu there that let’s me change the sampling rate (set to 44.1 Hz by default).
  However, anytime I select any different rate (48, or 192, or whichever), it reverts back to 44.1 after about two seconds. I can’t seem to get it to stick to anything but 44.1.

  Could this that my stock sound card is limited to 44.1 Hz?
  I’m running a new Macbook Pro Retina, 2.6 GHZ Intel Core i7.

  Any ideas? Thank you for the help!
