  Blue Ray with DVC-PRO HD on SD DVD?

  I just got the new Sony BDP-S1 Blue ray DVD player. I love it so far.

  Already, I’m trying to figure out a way to compress 720P DVC-PRO from Final Cut/Compressor to a standard def DVD.

  The blue ray player supports AVCHD/MPEG-4/H.264.

  So is it possilbe? All I’ve got to work with is Final Cut Studio, Quad G5 with burner and the blue ray player.
