Blu-Ray Writing-Which output is better?
Hello all.
I’ve just finished a film which is shot in 720p at 30fps. I converted it to 24fps when burning to DVD for a more cinematic feel but have a question about burning a Blu-ray. Which setting would be better?
1. Setting the output to 1080p at 30 fps
or
2. Setting the output to 1080p at 24 fps
I know I will lose resolution by going from 720p to 1080p so is setting it at 30 fps going to be better or will I lose my “film” look by a higher fps? The film is being screened at a film festival and I’m worried that it will look bad if I go both 1080p at 24 fps.
Any advice is appreciated. I will be outputing in .mov format using Sony Vegas.
Thanks.
