Blu-Ray Video Burning on the Mac with Toast 9?

Well for one thing it’s so tightly integrated with Photoshop and After Effects that you can bounce around the three apps to create and tweak motion menus and such much easier than in DVDSP.

The best thing about Encore is it seems to be designed as more of a “pro” app with more depth and easier to navigate to get into the app and find the features you really need to tweak and work on. Such as animated buttons, better moving backgrounds and such.

Sometimes in DVDSP, it’s so laid out for ease of use that when you want to try some advanced features, you need to find them or go into the Manual to figure out where it’s buried.

Overall I prefer DVDSP because it’s easier to use. But getting into Encore, you can see where if you spend more time with it, you’d probably end up with more visually interesting projects with that app.

So, author with DVDSP setting all the options to “BD”… multiplexing (building) a DVD on the HDD and then toast that folders with Toast 9 will NOT work on a Blu-Ray player?

so then, what are all the Blu-Ray options on the DVDSP’s inspector for?
just marketing bullshit?

The official Presentations/seminars of Apple assured “HD-DVD and Blu-Ray support”
