Blu-ray Subtitles
Hi Gang,
I just finished a short film and am prepping to author a Blu-ray Disc for submission to a small/niche festival.
They want a Blu-ray Disc master with subtitles. I also have to author a DVD with subtitles for handing out to everyone that helped, and also to try and sell.
Can I use the same subtitle file for both uses? How difficult is it to author using Encore or DVDSP?

hi chris,
if you have started authoring your BD within encore, you can create a DVD out of it easily.all you need to set if the output to DVD instead of BD, encored should rescale your films and menus to SD-res, while outputting.
the quality is depending on your transcoding-settings.
