    Hi All,

I am normally a DVD Studio Pro user, but due to the lack of Blu-Ray support, I am currently using Encore. While there are some things I like about this program it seems REALLY quirky. Also, I have a couple of questions.

    1. Because of the crazy price of BD-Rs, I build my projects to an RW, check it out and then make copies. The one thing I noticed is that when I go back into Encore to make copies, it re-builds the entire project again! For a blu-ray, this process takes forever. Does Encore just not offer the ability to use the already built project, or am I doing something wrong? The manual has been NO HELP!

    2. I have run into a popular issue where an audio and a video file don’t match up in the timeline and so building the project returns an error. Since haven’t found any solutions on Adobe’s site I was hoping someone had a solution or workaround. I noticed that if I bringin the .mov from FCP and place it in the timeline, the audio and video tracks seem to match up, but I then have to re-encode the video (6 hours or so!), However, is this a more reliable workflow?

    Thanks so much!!
