Blu-ray problems
Hey guys,
I’ve been loving the switch to fcpx. I am having some issues getting a good looking blu-ray though. I tried the “share” option that burns straight to a blu-ray. It works, but there’s a strange pulsating happening in some of the darker midtones. It’s almost like the small amount of grain that’s there is going from light to dark over and over. It’s creating a type of visual throbbing if that makes any sense. It doesn’t do it in the timeline or in the QT movie prores 422 HQ file, although there is some grain that I wasn’t expecting. I also tried burning the disc image by write clicking on the file and selecting burn. Same result. I read about using disk utility but I didn’t see an option on the el capitan version I’m running. The camera is a black magic pocket that we shot in LOG and I color graded with color finale pro. Any ideas?thanks, everyone!
