Blu Ray Pop-UP control – On and Off ???
We got a complaint from a new client because the left-edge vertical pop-up menu didn’t disappear when the LEFT arrow was pressed on the remote. Our other two clients apparently don’t care about this, but this one did. We can’t find any way to “turn off” the pop-up. It turns on and off with the Pop-Up button on the remote, but we need a way to create some invisible button or something that will trigger the opt-up to just shut off. If it’s a horizontal pop-up, the DOWN arrow would need to turn it off. Does anyone know if this is possible? Since Encore obviously knows about pop-ups, you would think there would be a way to control this.
We create a Page-2 folder with the pop-up and this all works fine from the main menu. But if you bring up the pop-up while the movie is playing, and your selections are, say, horizontally aligned buttons, they want a DOWN arrow press to take the pop-up away. Hope this is clear.
