Sorry to bring this up once again, but none of the other thread on the subject seems to provide a definitive answer !!!!

So my question is fairly simple; is it possible to burn a blu-ray disc using toast?

I’m planning to buy an internal blu-ray burner for my G5 (dual 2.7)
So i would have to author my DVD elswhere (i have acces to Adobe Encore on a PC at work)
so i’m wondering if i can build my DVD on the PC, output an iso files, bring it over to my mac and burn it with toast.

I understand that toast only support data burning to Blu-Ray, but is it correct to assume that an iso file, even if it contain video, should be treated by Toast as data? And that the resulting disc should play correctly in a blu-ray player ?

    Thank you

    Lupin

If the version of Toast you have accepts Blu-ray ISO images and can burn to Blu-ray, then yes, you will be able to do this with an Encore CS3-created BD image.

For further information about Toast, you should ask at a forum dedicated to it.
