  Blu-ray menu buttons fails to navigate to linked video when played in Blu-ray player

  I’ve created a blu-ray encode project with a menu. When I playback the Blu-ray on the computer, the menu and links work as expected. When I place the disk in a Blu-ray player which was purchased in late 2012, I encounter problems. You can navigate around all of the menus and they will respond with the active and highlighted status colors but, when you select a menu nothing happens.
  The project output is blu-ray using h.264 bluray with 30 bps settings. The video’s, including the animated video for the animate menu background were exported from Premiere Pro. The menu animation works but the linked videos do not play
