February 23, 2010 at 7:15 pmThe possibility to burn Blu-Ray is only present since DVDA 5.0.
An upgrade to DVDA 5.0b was free for owners of DVD4.5

March 1, 2010 at 1:15 pmHi,
Will you require a new serial number for this upgrade? If so will this be supplied during the upgrade?
Regards,
Andy.

March 1, 2010 at 5:49 pmNo, nothing required. It recognized that I had a previous version and asked if I wanted to update to 5.0. Answered yes, and poof…it was done.

March 3, 2010 at 5:46 pmHi again,
I followed the link and successfully installed Pro 5. However it is asking me for a serial number to register it. The only serial number i have is for version 4.5 and this does not work for version 5. It did not ask me if I would like to upgrade. I opted to install the trial version. Does anyone know where I have gone wrong? I looked at the install notes on the version 5 download page, but that did not offer any clue about upgrading.
Regards,
Andrew.

March 3, 2010 at 8:27 pmIf you installed on the same computer that version 4.5 was on, it should work as an upgrade. It should recognize that you have a version on your computer.

March 3, 2010 at 10:51 pmCould it be that your 4.5 version is the Studio version of DVDA?
