BLU-RAY final result missing resolution?
Hi all. I am new to encore on the Mac, and I am trying to do a simple loop playback BLU-RAY disc. Everything seems to work fine – except the final picture quality. It seems like the material ( 1920×1080 animation codec quicktime files ) looses half the resolution when being played back on the TV set. Text appear a little “tagged” logos have lost their sharp edges and so on.
I think the source material is Progressive, and I am creating a 25i disc. I tried both the available coding options MPEG-2 and H264 both produces similar results.
Any ideas be be very appreciated !
I use a BDP-S1E and a 46″ Sony Bravia for final checking.

Got it sorted. It was a matter of the material going in was Prores 422 (HQ) instead of uncompressed by mistake.
