  • Blu-ray Error: Bit Rate too High?

So I get this error every time I try to encode my Blu-ray disc. I am assuming that the bit rate I used to encode from Premiere was too high. Am I correct? If so, does this mean that I need to re-encode all of my assets at a lower bit rate before bringing them into Encore? Or is it some other issue?

    Thanks for any help.

    jepp – bitrite to high!

what codec did you use? H264 or MPEG2? which bitrate did you use?

blu-ray could only handle 48MBit/s for all content (audio+video). keep in mind that uncompressed pcm(wav/aif)-audio have 1.5Mbit/s bandwith.

if you have chosen MPEG2HD, I would advice to use H264, as it could create the same quality as MPEG2 at a lower bitrate.

    cheers
