  • Blu-ray disks get ‘Invalid Service’ message when first try to play, but play 2nd time around; why ?

    I burn Blu-ray disks in standard 3D formats, directly off the timeline, but my player always rejects them the first time in, and I get an ‘Invalid Service’ message, – eject, – re-insert, then they always play fine on the second try.

    Playing on a domestic LG BD player – Model HR825T.
    Is it my player being fussy; – my mate’s expensive 3D BD player hates them totally and always rejects them so far.
    Is it my player not liking non-commercial produced disks – no anti copying, copyright devices installed;
    Is it my player not much liking 25GB single layer generic disks;
    Is it my player not much liking the encoding style/method first up, but reads OK the second time?

    The player seems to go through every BD permutation while first scanning, with my chosen format coming last – 720p60 3D.

    Is it the labels and info (or lack of), created by Sony Vegas Pro 13 on 3D BD’s which the player first reads?

    Or is it the ‘home burnt’ method, – not mastered / stamped disk, giving the player issues ?

    Just very annoying when trying to demonstrate my 3D videos to people!
