Hi folks, I apologize if this has been answered before, but I am stumped. I have a 2 hour video that I am attempting to burn to blu-ray. The footage has been edited in FCP and then exported to Encore CS3 for blu-ray authoring. Here’s my problem. I have attempted to use the “auto” settings to create the blu-ray disc. I have attempted to write to disc, create a disc image and blu-ray folder. Here’s where I am getting bogged down, the file size is coming in at 24 gigs and my blank’s are just over 23 gigs. Is there a way I can set the actual disc/file size prior to authoring? Thanx a million..I hope I made sense.

Unfortunately not for Blu-Ray output, only regular DVD. Thats odd that you have a disc at that capacity. It’s pretty standard that single layer BD-R’s are 25GB. You will have to manually set the encoding bitrate in your situation.
