I have a project in Encore that was imported from Premiere which includes a single timeline of video and two audio tracks. The audio tracks are .cs3 files – one a stereo, the other a 5.1 – both created in Compressor.

The project works just fine in preview. When I burn a SDDVD, everything works properly. When I burn a Blu-Ray, the chapters don’t function when playing back the entire timeline, the 5.1 file doesn’t decode properly (puts all the audio into two speakers), the buttons I created to select between 5.1 and stereo don’t function, and other small random problems occur.

    Any thoughts?

    hi bryan,
maybe your project-settings have been incorrect. maybe you´ve choosen transcoding settings PCM audio, so all audio will be transcoded to PCM.

if so, you need to create a complete new project, because you can´t reset the project-transcoding-settings (as far as I remember).

    cheers

    Thanks, Danny.

That was one of the things I triple checked to make sure was proper.

I’m considering rebuilding the Encore project from scratch just to see if it has some random corrupt file or something.

Just not sure why the audio file would work on DVD and not on BD.
