Blu Ray Burning Error
Posted by Sky Soleil on September 17, 2008 at 5:28 amBasically…
The Video Template Option does not show up when I try to burn a Blu Ray.
Therefore I can’t select a video template option and I can’t burn a disc.
Video template is one of the parameters and the disc will not burn without the parameters defined.
The other parameters show up. But the Video Template Option does not.
Please help!
Thanks

September 17, 2008 at 6:27 amLet me clarify, what i think you are saying……You are
referring to Vegas 8, So when you go “Tools”–“Burn disc”,
are you not seeing your “Blu-ray Disc” option?
Because if you set it at “Burn existing image file” (which
is not the option for you to use), you will not have template
options to choose.Steve Rhoden

September 17, 2008 at 6:34 amThanks for your response. We do see the blu ray disc option but when we go to the parameters the video template option is not available.

September 17, 2008 at 5:44 pmOK Sky,
Just initiate the maintenance wizard by going to this directory:
C:/Program Files/Sony Setup/Vegas Pro 8.0 and click on vegas80_enu
and follow the process to completion.
When done restart your computer and tell me if the option is
now available.Steve Rhoden

September 18, 2008 at 11:12 pmThanks. We got it working and my first Blu Ray looks great.
I had another question.
I made a Blu Ray with a Video file and two audio files. Audio Right and Audio left for stereo.
I would like to make a Blu Ray with 5.1 capability.
Can Vegas do this and how do I do it?
