    Hello,

I’m working on CS3 and I want to make a window appear blown out. Its very close to being blown out but you can see a flag just behind it. The shot is moving and has someone standing in front of the window. using the clone tool came out really messy and varied too much from shot to shot.

Is there a mask or key that you would recommend?

Also, if I used the colour effect, can i limit the part of the frame it picks up on as there are highlights on the wrong side of the screen but this might be a useful tool otherwise.

Thanks, I will try that. Excuse my ignorance (I’m still learning the software but up against a deadline) but when you adjust a layer does it composite back onto the background automatically (if the composition shows it on the layer above).

So I would just mask out the area and drop it back on top?
