    Hi,
I’ve searched all over for this effect but nothing.
I want to make an effect where a photo is shown and is covered with sand. After a few seconds the sand just moves away, like there was a wind that blew it away.
All I could found was ‘text to sand’ tutorials, but nothing regarding this one…
    Any help?

IT’s the same thing. Instead of text, you apply the effect to a layer of sand. You can scan an image of the sand and use that. You’ll need to create an alpha channel to only retain areas with sand.

I’ve got a bucket of sand in my garage. Let me know if you wanna borrow it. And you can probably rent a leaf blower at HomeDepot.
