Blocky Noise in capture from HDV through HD10AVA
Trying to capture HDV 720P 25 through Kona 2, but am experiencing digital blocks in the pictures.
Source is component out from JVC BR-HD50 player, through Aja HD10AVA adapter to HDSDI.
The noise pattern seems to appear every 12 frames or so in the lower half of the picture.
Since there is no AJA Easy Setup for capturing 720P 25 – I made my own presets.Tried to use the same setup to capture regular DV (Aja HD10AVA sending regular SDI from the players component out) and there was no problem.
Does Kona2 not support 720P 25?

DVCPRO HD 720p25:
This Easy Setup is used for native editing of DVCPRO HD 720p25
footage imported from Panasonic P2 cards. Final Cut Pro does not support
DVCPRO HD 720p25 capture from or output to tape.Peace and Love 🙂
