blinking yellow light on black car
Hello,
I need to add a blinking, strong, yellow light, to exisiting footage of a black car backing into frame. I used a practical, yellow blinking light for all of my other footage, but missed the effect for this one shot. Is there a way to add the blinking to this quick shot. Maybe three beats of yellow spalashing across the black surface of the car.
I considered green screen, but, I’m assuming it can’t work, as the light would have no actual surface to bounce against!
Using 6.5 pro on a PC.

do you have access to a 3d program? if you do you could just render out a reflection pass, using a yellow light, on some crude shaped geometry in roughly the shape of your car. then bring it into after effects and compsite it.
