Blending mode in Animation Preset
Hey clever people – saving a bunch of presets for my team, and all I’m missing is the ability to save blending modes. At the moment I’m just leaving a Controller effect with a reminder, but I know it’s going to get missed.
I know you can’t select it, but wondering if there’s a clever effect in Channels or Color Correction. Surely there’s a way of applying a blending mode as an effect!

You can’t really do that — effects and blend modes are pretty different!
But depending on what you’re trying to build and standardize, you might want to take a look at an Essential Graphics workflow for your team. The most common use is probably authoring in After Effects and executing in Premiere, but the workflow is also very useful exclusively in After Effects:
