  • Blending Edges within a Shape Layer

I am attempting to TrkMat a gradient shape layer over green screen video. The Track Matte works well. My guy becomes the gradient. I then am using the wanting to create multiple instances of the gradient within the shape layer so the his head is one gradient while his body is a different gradient. I am again able to do this.

What I am wondering, is there a way to blend the edges of both of the mattes so that the one above the other doesn’t have a hard edge?

I hope I explained that well enough. Thanks.

Here is a jpg of the masks without the track matte. I’m wanting to feather or blend the edges of the smaller circles. Can this be done?

Try Channel Blur then only blur the alpha… lemme know if that works…

Also the Key Correct plugin package has a plugin called “Edge Blur” that will blur your edges…
