So I’m editing a project from an external. The project was started on a different machine (27″ iMac 5k Retina) but has always lived on this external. When I opened the project on my current system (a different 27″ iMac 5k Retina) it opens fine, except that 2 clips in my sequence are blank in both the Monitor window and the Source window. When I open them in finder, the video is fine. And if I duplicate the video file and drag it into the project it plays back fine.

I tried to Replace the media in the project window, as well as mark it Offline and then Reconnecting. But it still shows up blank. Even if I try to duplicate the footage, move it locally and Reconnect to that form Offline mode.

Is there anyway for me to fix this? It seems like the clip container in the XML has a glitch or an error.

These are MTS files, not sure if that make a difference.

Any help would be amazing. Thanks.

Ah! I sorted out the problem. This machine is missing a LUT.
