Blank timeline
Posted by Steve Cheramy on August 24, 2007 at 12:59 amIn Vegas 7, for some reason, anything in the timeline is all white. There is video in the preview window, but as of yesterday, any video file the timeline is now completely white. Is there a switch for this?
Thanks

August 31, 2007 at 3:06 amI purchased a new Dell XPS 140 running duel Xeon quad Cpu’s overclocked to 3.46Mz. It came with Vista home premium. I am having problems, sony vegas 6 will not download video from my camera, it comes up with errors.
Also, it will not run my Microboard PF2 printer. I E-Mailed Microboard tech support and asked them for Vista drivers. They said “they are not supporting the Vista operating system and had no plans to do so”. I can not believe thay are abandoning their customer base.
The computer is very fast, it took my old computer 7 to 8 hours to render a 1 hour video, the XPS will renter it in 40 minutes. Love the computer, really sorry I went with the Vista operating system.
Any help on my Vista problems would be appreciated.

Simple, upgrade to Windows XP. It will cost you some $$s, but it will fix your headaches.
