  • blank motion title as adjustment layer in fcpx?

    Hi guys
I cant get this to work. Every time i put a a saved blank motion title into fcpx it wont let me see a apply effect to it. Im trying to put a vignette filter over a scene with hundreds of cuts so I need some way of doing this without doing them individually. I cant copy effects cause there are speed chages and other effects that cant be changed.
    Thanks
    Miles

Create the vignette in Motion as part of the title. Instead of making it blank, place a gradient generator from the library, with gradient opacity or create the vignette some other way, but as a layer. Then you can apply it like a title over your project.

Hi guys thanks for the reply…I worked out what I was doing wrong…I am so new to motion that I didn’t realise its title appeared in fcp-x title bay, and I was trying to import them as footage…so silly. Working great…big sigh of relief
