Blank Media
Posted by Ben Brodbeck on June 12, 2009 at 9:23 pmHey,
I’m starting a video department for a local hospital and wanted to know where you guys buy your blank media…DVD’s, Blu-Ray and Tape Stock.
Where can I get quality, good service and a fair price.
Thanks!,

June 12, 2009 at 9:29 pmLook at the ads right on the sides here at the Cow. https://www.Tapeonline.com gets pretty high ratings from lots of Cows. I use Meritline for DVDs, because they are with 50-miles of L.A. and deliver via UPS ground with 24 hours.

June 13, 2009 at 1:45 amBest I know of for all disc media and use all the time and has great prices and the best quality is
mediamegamall.com
And I use taperesources.com for some media but we have a local guy who delivers in a couple hours for free so we use him for most tape.
Try megamediamall.com for DVD adn Blu Ray.

June 13, 2009 at 2:56 pmWe use Tape Resources (taperesources.com), and I couldn’t recommend them any higher.
Great people, knowlegeable staff, good pricing, very friendly, super fast and free shipping. We never do it on line, though… we just pick up the phone and chat them up.
They are probably my favorite vendor of any kind that we have ever worked with.

June 13, 2009 at 4:11 pmWe recommend tapeonline.com and couldn’t recommend them any higher, as if we had to rely on taperesources.com to support the COW, you would be unable to recommend them highly or otherwise.
Between a contest of really nice people, I think I’ll vote for the tapeonline.com people any day.

June 14, 2009 at 3:14 amfor product selection and quality of service it’s mediamegamall.com for me.
Hey David, you had it switched around….it’s media mega mall not mega media mall!
And the other reason I like taperesources.com is that they send a small M&Ms bag with every order!
BTW, another reason to choose a vendor is proximity. Media Mega Mall is in the midwest so shipping is usually two days to me UPS Ground. Any west coast dealer and it can be 5 days which usually doesn’t work for us. So that should be another reason to choose one over another, as well as shipping charges.

June 17, 2009 at 3:01 pmBeen using https://www.tapeonline.com for many years, since before they advertised on the COW. Great service.
Hurry and buy your tape now because some day it will all go the way of vinyl records.
