  BlackmagicFrameLink.kext installed improperly

  Hello all

  So I recently bought a new MacPro, woohoo

  Specs:
  Processor: 2 x 2.6 GHz Quad-Core
  Memory: 8 GB
  OS 10.6.2

  FCP v7.0.1

  So here’s the issue, i bought a DeckLink HD extreme card. Installed the card in and attached the cables. Started installing the Decklink software and I get this error when I install

  The system extension “/System/Library/Extensions/BlackmagicFrameLink.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try installing it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update.

  Please can someone explain to me what the issue is?

  Could it be that the card is not installed properly? What am I missing?

  Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
