Blackmagic vs Kona performance in Avid Media Composer 6
Hello
How’s everyone feeling about Avid Media Composer 6 with Blackmagic and Kona cards? I see some months back there were issues with sluggishness.

Kona? Snappy, spot on. Very fun. More rock solid than Kona and FCP.

Agreed. My Kona LHi is very responsive with MC6. No experience with BMD.

BMD has some issues with trimming, sluggishness etc. Scrubbing with caps lock on (audio scrubbing) causes video dropout on latest drivers.
Fairly stable, otherwise. -
