Blackmagic Ultrastudio 4k Extreme
Hey Guys,
Was having some issues posting this in another thread, so I decided to make a new post.
I’m looking to invest in the Black magic Ultrastudio 4K Extreme and essentially I’m wondering if it will support my current set up. I’m looking to connect my Mac Pro (through thunderbolt 2) but also want to connect my broadcast monitor as well as my client monitor. I know the unit has the capability to do that, but I’m not sure what cables to use in order to get picture on both my broadcast monitor and client monitor at the same time Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know it’s been two weeks, but here goes. The Ultrastudio 4K Extreme has MANY outputs, all hot. Meaning you can output SDI to two different monitors…and HDMI out yet another. You can have THREE external monitors if you want. So yeah, you can do that.
