  Blackmagic new drivers – 720p downconversion bug

  Hey BM!

  It’s great that the new drivers finally solve the edit to tape frame accuracy issue so many of us have been having, but I’m still seeing a serious 720p downconversion bug that I can only fix by going back to the 6.2 drivers.

  Basically, I can no longer downconvert 720p media to an SD monitor (by turning ON downconversion in the Decklink System Preferences). When I try playing down media this way FCP scales in and out of the footage rapidly and then freezes.

  Any idea on when we might get a fix on this? I want to use the new drivers, but I can’t until this issue is cleared up.
