Blackmagic MISSING???
Hi All…
So, a few weeks ago I tried to capture video with blackmagic deck control and in the pref pane the easy setup now says “custom” and I’m unable to select Blackmagic 10 bit. then in capture settings it says Blackmagic NTSC/PAL (missing) AND DeckLink audio (missing). The same holds true in FCP 5.1.1 both missing.I have video output and if I use the photoshop frame grab I can get video input that way.
So, I’ve uninstalled, fixed permissions, reinstalled without any change… any ideas?

Oh, I forgot to say I trashed FCP and Deck control prefs too. Still nada. Also, I can’t seem to find a contact for BMD anybody have an email for them?

It sounds like the card is not being detected for some reason. What kind of card do you have? Can you send us a copy of your system profile. Make sure the card and drivers are installed before saving it from Apple System Profiler.
When you launch the DeckLink preferences, do it tell you the model of the card you have? It should say something like “Preference Settings for your [model]“
