  Blackmagic Media Express won’t record

  Capturing HDCAM footage through BlackMagic Express (HDSDI into BM, Thunderbolt 2 out of BM to iMac). I can see the footage in the BlackMagic Media Express capture window, and can place ins and outs. Footage says it is capturing to file, but is not. Wheel is spinning like it’s trying to record, but can’t. Any suggestions?
