    Blackmagic Drivers and HDV

    What FCP areas does reinstalling the Blackmagic drivers touch? I recently upgraded to the 5.2 drivers for my Decklink HD card. First I uninstalled the older drivers, then installed the 5.2 drivers. Now, for the first time I am attempting to use the HDV capabilities of FCP5, and I’m being told there are no HDV codecs on my system (can see more details on the HDV list). Could they have been wiped when I uninstalled the Blackmagic drivers?

    I had the same problem. it wiped out the HDV preset and codec.
