Blackmagic Disk Speed Test – Disk Full??
Posted by Steve Lim on May 16, 2005 at 4:16 amHi,
We just bought 2 decklink extreme cards for our Dual G5s. After installation, I tried running the Disk Speed Test and get an error that the Disk is full. Whats going on?
I have 2 400GB SATA drives striped using macOS built in raid.Pls advise..
Thanks.

Did you run Disk Speed Tool from the drives you’re testing? It installs to your startup volume by default.

May 16, 2005 at 6:00 amHi,
I do not understand. I have 2 * 400GB SATA drives striped as one 800GB drive. I do NOT have any external drives or anything. I just wish to see benchmark the 800GB volume (the same volume that would be holding the video data in time to come).

May 17, 2005 at 6:45 pmYou need to copy (drag & drop) the application itself onto the hard drive you wish to test and run (double-click) it from there.
