  Blackmagic Design vs. Matrox Axio

  Unfair to compare an existing product to a product that isn’t out yet, but I am trying to decide whether to wait for the Matrox Axio or buy the DeckLink HD Pro 4:2:2. From what I have heard, it sounds as if the Axio will be the more capable board, but what specifically is the difference? Planning on HP xw8200/Premiere Pro.

  Is there any inkling as to what Blackmagic Design has up its sleeve to answer the Axio?
