  Blackmagic Design Open Days and LumaForge Resolve 11 Insight events

  Have posted this in the Events tab but thought I’d also post it on this thread as this is where the youngest and brightest minds (well Bob Z and me anyway) seem to hang out and have the most informed discussions on shared storage architectures and real life digital media workflows.

  On Thursday July 24th in sunny Burbank, Blackmagic Design will be holding their annual Open House Day from 11am to 7pm … they’ll have all their new goodies on display and we’ll be there demoing the new AMD W9100 and W8100 GPUs running DaVinci Resolve 11.

  We’ll also be doing a follow-up event on Saturday July 26th on The Lot in West Hollywood from 10am to 12 noon showing the new Resolve Collaborative Workflow functionality running on the LumaZAN platform.

  We got some great feedback from our last Resolve Collaborative Workflow Insight session and already BMD have tweaked the Resolve 11 beta.

  If you’re around LA on Thursday 24th or the Saturday 26th and you want to get a good sense of where Blackmagic is taking Resolve and their full product set you might want to pop in for a bit.

  I should add that Blackmagic are also running their Open House Day in New York on Wednesday August 13th from 11am to 7pm if you’re unfortunate enough to live on the East Coast (especially Florida).
