Blackmagic Design DeckLink SDI PCI Express Capture Card
Is Davinci Resolve 8 be compatible with this less expensive capture card? I will be running from a Mac Pro into my FSI monitor through HD-SDI.
I have no plans to run 3D projects or capture and buying a $1000 capture card seems pointless to me…
edit: sorry there appears to be several other threads about this question, but see only mention of HDMI. Would delete the post if I could, but there it is…

if the card works (but you know it is just put it in and see basis) then it should do sdi also
not only hdmi. if the card works then it does not matter what connections you use.—
