    Blackmagic Design Decklink & MC7

    I just installed MC7 and the latest Blackmagic driver (9/7/5). Avid doesn’t recognize the card and runs in software mode. MC6.0 and 6.5 worked well with Blackmagic Decklink. Press release last week from Blackmagic says they support MC7. But there is no reference to any Avid application beyond MC6 in the readme file for newest driver.

    I’m sure I’m missing something somewhere. Help greatly appreciated.

    Did you get this resolved, or is there in fact a compatibility issue with Decklink and MC7?

    DeckLink issue has been resolved. Now just trying to get the AMA files on the system.

    What resolved the Decklink issue? I’m having the same problem now; no video out from v7 to my Decklink card.

    Chris,

    I went back to a driver dated December 2012. The latest driver just didn’t work and I needed to get the work.
